Strum has completed numerous wildlife surveys and inventories at over 20 wind farms in the province.  These surveys include bird surveys (breeding, migration, and winter surveys for passerines, raptor surveys, and owl surveys), moose surveys, bat surveys (utilizing AnaBat detectors), and general flora and fauna surveys, including species at risk.  Data from these surveys have assisted with the planning and implementation of the wind farms and have been used to develop and implement mitigation measures and post-construction monitoring plans and programs.
