Strum Consulting and Barber Engineering Services (Barber) are joining forces through Strum’s acquisition of Barber. Barber Engineering Services, with a full-time staff of 3, has been at the forefront of Mechanical Engineering throughout Nova Scotia since 1984. Barber has developed a strong reputation for their service through the personal involvement of the owner, Rick Barber, in each and every project.
Strum Consulting is an Engineering, Survey, and Environmental Services Company, incorporated in 1995. Strum has a staff of 65 with projects and offices across Atlantic Canada. Strum welcomes Rick and his employees as they become an integral part of the Strum Team.
The integration of Barber adds technical expertise in the Mechanical Engineering field to Strum’s existing team and new services, including Civil Engineering, Survey and Environmental, to the Barber Team. This integration also ensures that Barber’s 35 year legacy of delivering successful projects throughout our community will carry on. Not only is this an exciting aspect of Strum’s growth, but this also assures Barber’s many loyal clients that Rick and his team will be continuing to provide the same level of professionalism and service, a known hallmark of Barber Engineering Services over the years to come.
