Strum provided a Hazardous Materials screening, Tender Development, and conducted a Type III Hazardous Abatement Supervision of hazardous material abatement work. Strum supervised the contractor, ensured that all hazardous materials (lead, mercury, asbestos-containing material, etc.) were removed, contained, and safely handled for disposal. Strum undertook ambient sampling during the restoration and completed closure sampling and documentation. Strum was also involved in mercury sampling, wastewater sampling (by-law W-101), and discharge characterization at the Sewage Treatment Plant.
