The Province recently purchased 20,000 hectares of land in Eastern Nova Scotia. Legal surveys had to be performed on the various parcels throughout eastern Nova Scotia. Strum Consulting completed legal surveys on several large tracts ranging in size up to 500 acres. This included doing extensive research to identify any easements and to assist in boundary determination. Upon completion of the research, Strum survey teams conducted field surveys locating boundary evidence, brushing out boundary lines, and setting boundary monuments. All work was done in accordance with DNR survey Standards.
