Flora and Fauna Inventories
Strum completed a comprehensive assessment of flora and fauna (including avifauna), with particular emphasis on species at risk and associated habitats, along a proposed 10 km proposed transmission corridor. This assessment involved a thorough desktop review of species of conservation concern as well as several seasonally appropriate field assessments. Based on the desktop and field results, Strum completed an environmental effects assessment and developed appropriate mitigation measures for environmental protection. Species identified to be at risk during the assessment (four avian species) were further evaluated for cumulative effects and specific environmental protection measures were provided.
